Will I know what my out-of-pocket cost is before appointments or before we begin treatment?

At our office, we make every effort to try and stay up to date with all of our patients’ specific coverages and allowances, in addition to the general trends of certain insurance companies. Our office manager, Becca, is highly skilled at this and has many years with our office. She, or one of our team members, will make our best effort to inform you of what your specific plan allows before appointments are made or treatment is scheduled.

What if my insurance does not cover a procedure that has already been performed?

We will always try our best to give you an accurate estimate before rendering services. With the ever-changing insurance landscape, the difficulties of providing accurate estimates are growing every day. If there ever is a discrepancy in what is covered versus what is provided, please rest assured that our office will continue to work with you or your insurance to help with coverage. Please remember that it is our office policy that you are still ultimately responsible for billing and services provided.

Do you have a cancellation policy or late fee?

Yes. Due to the nature of our business, we cannot afford to have constant cancellations. Our current policy requires a 48 hours’ notice in advance if you need to cancel and to please arrive at least 15 minutes early to your appointment. Cancellation without notice will incur a $50 fee. If you are cancelling a new patient exam, you will not be able to reschedule your exam until after the fee is paid.

Can I pay in installments?

Since we are in-network with insurances, there is usually little need to pay things in installments. However, we are open to work with people on a case-by-case basis to see if an installment plan is needed.

Do you treat kids?

Yes! Some children will require the special attention of pediatric dentist, however, many children are capable of seeing a general dentist for their care.
